This 27 000 m2 state of the art Distribution Centre for Truworths in Cape Town serves 400 stores with a full pick and pack service. The equipment supplied and maintained by GMS Systems includes over 600m of powered overhead empty carton conveyors, some 500m of powered belt and roller conveyors, picking lines, and dynamic storage for 750 000 garments. The overhead rail equipment is fully suspended from the concrete roof above the ground floor, and from the steel roof above the 1st floor level. |
